You can practice skills to improve your well-being. Learn about mental health, explore your thoughts and feelings, and practice healthy mindfulness activities. Mindfulness brings attention to the current moment, and gives the moment your focus without judgement. Practices include mediation, breath awareness, kindness practice, and yoga.
While these resources may help anyone, professional help is needed at times. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about your mental health. For referrals to mental health and substance abuse services, San Juan Unified offers Care Solice, and the National Council lists organizations that provide services in the community regardless of ability to pay, and Mental Health First Aid lists many resources. You may also contact your school counselor and wellness team for support.
